Notice27 stable 1.2 is a self-hosted WooCommerce implementation tool for merchants who have determined that the harmonised EU legal-guarantee notice applies to a consumer-goods journey. It displays a supplied colour notice on the placements you enable; it does not decide legal scope or certify the rest of a store.

Requirements and installation
The current tested combination is WordPress 7.0.2, WooCommerce 10.9.4, and PHP 8.2.32. Other versions are not described as tested until they appear on the compatibility page.
In WordPress, open Plugins → Add New Plugin → Upload Plugin, choose notice27-eu-guarantee-1.2.0.zip, install, and activate it. Then open WooCommerce → EU Guarantee Notice.
The current ZIP SHA-256 is C898F6551B5DF4F39B4E02DA534999BA614E3B39C5DF1FB83CC95BA438D9FB69. Preserve the original ZIP and compare this checksum before installation.
Language priority
A fixed language selected by an administrator wins first. In automatic mode Notice27 checks the active WPML frontend language, then the active Polylang language, then the WordPress frontend locale.
If no supplied language matches, English is used only as a technical fallback and the settings screen shows a warning. Verify that the selected language is appropriate before relying on the display.
Placements
Version 1.2 includes compact, full, and off presentation modes across supported product, cart, checkout, and optional site-wide placements. It contains classic WooCommerce hooks and server-rendered Cart/Checkout block paths.
Catalogue/category pages, per-product rules, and GARAN durability labels are not implemented in version 1.2. Stable 1.2 does not classify digital content or digital services, assess GARAN qualification, or generate GARAN labels.
Confirmation and account-email views in the guided demo are fictional product-design previews only. Neither stable 1.2 nor the current private candidate provides production order-received or transactional-email placement.
Version 1.2 also has no three-day trial, licence keys, customer portal, owner console, or private automatic updater. Those candidate features are previewed separately and remain unavailable.
Verification checklist
Check the selected language, colour artwork, prominence, width, source link, desktop/mobile behavior, product page, populated cart, checkout, cache, and every storefront language. Repeat after changing a theme or checkout configuration.
The settings diagnostics show the resolution source and versions without sending the information to Notice27. Copy only non-sensitive version details when requesting support.
Troubleshooting
If the notice is absent, confirm the plugin and master enable switch are active, the placement is enabled, and the page is a WooCommerce surface covered above. Purge page/object caches and retest in a private browser window.
If the language is wrong, use the diagnostics to identify the source. Select a fixed language to separate a locale-integration issue from a rendering issue. Never send an API key, password, card number, or customer export.
